Currently Melissa is the senior health correspondent at BBC Studios covering innovative health content as well as fronting the popular award-winning weekly newsletter Health Fix, and the pioneering newsletter courses Six Steps to Calm and Live Well for Longer.
In 15 years at the BBC Melissa has worked on national live TV News, digital video and features and produced and reported for radio. Melissa spent several years in leadership positions, leading the BBCs most successful global video features team with year-on-year video growth, winning numerous industry awards for short and long-form digital and TV content.
Melissa is a New America/Jacob’s foundation fellow of the Learning Science Exchange, a first-of-its-kind prestigious fellowship launched to spark new ideas and breakthrough approaches for communicating the insights of early learning.
