Max Gottschalk is a Partner of the Longevity Fund by Clinique La Prairie, an Article 8 investment platform dedicated to advancing the science and innovation of healthy aging and human performance. The Fund invests at the intersection of medicine, technology, and lifestyle, supporting pioneering companies that extend healthspan and promote sustainable well-being.
Max is also a Founding Partner of Ocean 14 Capital, a private equity fund focused on protecting and restoring the world’s oceans through investments in sustainable aquaculture, alternative proteins, and ocean health technologies.
He is the Co-Founder of Vedra Partners, a multi-family office with operations in London and Switzerland. Prior to Vedra, Max co-founded Gottex Fund Management in 1998, a global asset management firm that he built and brought to market in 2007 on the Swiss Stock Exchange (SIX) with a market capitalization of over US $2.2 billion.
Before founding Gottex, Max led Bear Stearns’ Fixed Income Derivatives Hedge Fund Sales team in New York. Over the past 25 years, he has traded, seeded, and invested with leading fund managers and has extensive experience in venture capital and private equity, having successfully backed, operated, and exited a number of private ventures including Faena Group, Everlane, Vita Coco, Good Catch, and Perfect Moment, where he currently serves as Chairman.
